About this course: The ServSafe course focuses on five aspects of food service that can affect the safety of food: • Personal Hygiene • Foodborne Microorganisms & Allergens • Purchasing, Receiving and Storage • Preparation, Cooking and Serving • Facilities, Cleaning/Sanitizing and Pest Management Most states require at least one manager in the establishment to be ServSafe certified. This course entails: • 6-hour course • Certified Instructor • Study materials provided • Proctored ServSafe exam • Valid for 5 years Class details: Certification: Provided upon passing the exam at the end of the class. Date and Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Location: Desktop Co-working Community, 3070 North Main Street, Kennesaw, GA 30144 Requirements: Please bring a device (e.g., laptop or tablet) to class. If you do not have access to one, an iPad will be provided.
